Originally coming together in 2013 their collective Sidemen project would quickly became one of the video platforms most popular ‘super groups’. The Sidemen, commonly abbreviated as SDMN, are a group of seven British YouTubers who are all well-renowned in their own right, with several of them having been friends since childhood.

It’s fair to say the lads didn’t hold back and we saw first hand why they have a reputation for the ridiculous, attempting to hide in London Taxis, Double Decker buses, Castle ramparts and ex-military Snatch land rovers so they could stay safe from being shot point blank by their ‘mates’ - that’s what friends are for, right!? In the later rounds Sideman Vikk could be heard boasting “I threw the smoke grenade out like the movies, it felt kinda sick!”. Taking it in turns to play the role of the Seeker (aka ‘the hunter’) each member got a chance to use one of Delta Force’s semi-automatic paintball guns to hunt down their victims, as well as using smoke and paint grenades to flush out the enemy. Gearing up for war the lads dressed up in Delta Force branded camouflage overalls, custom-fitted body armour, armoured gloves and our exclusive Pro Goggles in a bid to protect them from the inevitable paintball onslaught that was to follow! They even added their own combat twist to the proceedings, bringing a selection of ghillie suits and comedy costumes, not to mention what looked to be the worlds supply of GoPro cameras used to capture what would quickly become a day to remember. There all seven members - Olajide 'JJ' Olatunji, Harry Lewis, Simon Minter, Vikk Barn, Josh Bradley, Ethan Payne and Tobi Brown - could be seen playing an epic game of ‘hide & seek’ across four of our most popular maps Jet Hijack, London Apocalypse, Sheriff’s Castle and Zombies Crypt. The action took place on March 3rd 2020 at our East London location in Upminster.
